Shoreline at Sandbay

On the shoreline at Sandbay, Kewstoke, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, UK. Mamiya 645 1000S/Sekor 80mm F2.8. Film used: Ilford 120 Delta 400 Professional [1 to 5] & HP5+ 400 [6 to 8].

A large, battered and reduced beam sits on top of the rocks of a breakwater, stranded by the outgoing tide.

It is always a shame to see any motorcycle in such a sorry state. I bet though someone would put this on an 'auction site' for 'spares or repair'!

From the back of a 'black-top' wagon or off of a passing ship. However, someone simply lost their wheelbarrow.

A vehicle's steel wheel sitting on a tyre which has been wedged into the rocks on the sea shore at Sandbay.

'After a Party.' People sit on the rocks at night when the tide is out and there is always plenty of drift wood around to light a fire with. And of course, the ubiquitous plastic waste.

A balloon caught by its nylon string tie snagging on the rocks. Obviously, a recent arrival as its not perished yet and has been punctured on the sharper edges of the rocks.

A solitary, discarded, wheel and tyre left on the beach at Sandbay.

A thick, shallow depth of field, plank of wood reaches into the picture, coming to an abrupt chamfered – or bevel ended – and focused finish.
